Term 2 , Week 3

From the Principal

Dear Parents,

I trust you’ve had a wonderful week.

As we transition into a new season, it’s inevitable that sickness becomes more prevalent. This past week, we faced significant challenges as nearly half of our teachers fell ill. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our casual teachers and all other staff members for their remarkable dedication in managing the workload so effectively during this time. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Davila for her exceptional leadership in keeping the school running smoothly in my absence due to illness.

Athletics Carnival: Our Athletics Carnival on Tuesday was a resounding success, despite initial challenges coordinating with the council. These events may appear straightforward, but behind the scenes, they require meticulous planning and coordination. I’m immensely proud of our students for their outstanding performance in various athletic activities. Personally, the highlight for me was witnessing the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork during the relays and seeing the enthusiasm of all the house teams.

I’m grateful that we were able to host such a memorable event. A huge thank you to Ps Ethan for his exemplary organization and dedication to ensuring the day ran smoothly.

Safety:

You may have noticed the sign-in sheets at Chapel today. While there’s no specific incident prompting this, it serves as an additional layer of security for our community.

A reminder regarding photography: when capturing images of your child, please be mindful not to include other children in the frame. It’s essential to respect the privacy of all our students, and under no circumstances should photos of someone else’s child be shared on social media.

Congratulations: On a joyful note, I’d like to extend my warmest congratulations to Mr. Coronado and his wife, Carmen, on the birth of their daughter, Joy Coronado. We rejoice with them and thank God for the safe delivery and the precious gift of a healthy baby girl.

My door is always open,

Joe Britton
