HopePoint Christian School have an indoor gymnasium available for casual or permanent hire to other schools and community sporting groups within the local area.
We are very excited to have such a facility available, not only for our own student use but also for other members of the broader community. It is apparent that there is a shortage of modern indoor sporting facilities in the area so the availability of the gymnasium is a welcome addition to our local community.
The building boasts a fully indoor cushioned synthetic floor for multi-purpose usage in a variety of applications. The floor is compliant with all Australian Standards and is marked out with a full size basketball court as well as netball and volleyball court. It is also suitable for indoor soccer and other indoor sports, excluding roller sports. The basketball and netball hoops are height adjustable to cater for junior players as well as adults. There are spectator viewing areas as well as an electronic scoreboard. Toilet and shower facilities are available within the building. Disabled athletes are catered for with ramp access to the court and their own toilet and shower facilities.
