Learning

At HopePoint, we believe in fostering a love of learning that goes beyond textbooks.

Learning at HPCS

In accordance with the NSW Curriculum, our approach to teaching and learning is always aligned with a Christian worldview. We believe in differentiation, that every child would have the opportunity to learn based on their level, specific needs, and unique qualities.

A well-rounded education is essential for any student to flourish in their development. This is why we are passionate in creating enriching learning environments for our students. Our holistic approach cultivates intellectual, spiritual, and emotional growth in each student, preparing them for life’s challenges and opportunities.

Our dedicated teachers provide tailored support through one-on-one assistance, small group interventions, and personalised learning plans, whilst integrating a Christian perspective into all subjects, allowing students to connect their faith to their learning and academic pursuits.

Why HPCS

Values Based Education

Our school is grounded in Christian principles, fostering a nurturing environment where children learn the importance of compassion,  kindness, and moral integrity.  Character development is prioritised alongside academics.

With smaller class sizes, our teachers can provide personalised attention to each student, ensuring their unique learning needs are met and allowing for greater individualised growth.

Our curriculum goes beyond academics to include spiritual, physical, and emotional growth, ensuring a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in all aspects of life. We help our students build qualities like resilience, empathy, and leadership that will serve them well throughout life.

Our close-knit community provides a safe and supportive environment where every child feels valued and accepted, helping them flourish both academically and emotionally.
We also run a peer support program. This program is designed to help students develop positive relationships with their peers and feel more connected to the school community.

Finally, we see Christian formation as the key aspect to positive wellbeing. We have weekly chapel services and morning devotion time. This time provides students with the opportunity to reflect on their faith and connect with God before starting their day.
