From the Principal
Dear Parents,
I pray you had a blessed week.
It was wonderful to see our Kindy Graduates get on stage today and graduate. We are very proud of our Kindies, their contribution to the school and the growth they have all experienced throughout the year. It seemed like just yesterday the year started, but look how far all of them have come!
I wanted to congratulate our school captain candidates for 2025. 11 brave students spoke on Tuesday and eloquently outlined why they would be an excellent leader in the school and what the school means to them. All of them would be very suitable for the roles, however, the nature of these things is that there will be some disappointed students. I wanted to communicate how exceptionally proud of all of them I was. To get up in front of the whole school and staff and deliver such well thought out speeches deserves enormous praise. Well done!
Next week is a busy one!
Attached to this email was some information on the Year 6 fun day coming up on Wednesday. This is always a much loved day in the calendar, where our year 6 students run some great activities and games to celebrate the year. They have been very busy preparing a fun experience for all of our students.
Our Year 6’s are also off to Jamberoo on Thursday! A reminder for parents, that they need to be at school at 8.00am, returning at approximately 5.00pm.
On Friday, we are having our Christmas Chapel, we always have a great time celebrating the season and you are all very welcome to attend. Students are also able to wear Christmas mufti on this day.
Monday is also our orientation day, where students will meet and spend some time with their teacher for next year. I know this will be a great experience and opportunity for our students!
This week we had two car accidents, thankfully both were minor but they are a reminder that all of us have a responsibility to ensure safety! At risk of sounding like a broken record, please take care when exiting and entering the car park, please be patient with others and please look at your surroundings.
For those of you who pray, could I ask for some prayer for one of our staff? Many of you may have never met our business manager Mr Alex Chow, (other than when your fees get sent out). Alex looks after all of the finances in the school and does an exceptional job in ensuring the school’s financial stability. Alex also has a wonderful and generous heart for all of our students and families! Alex has spent most of the term in hospital, and has just had surgery, please pray for his full recovery and health.
My door is always open,
Joe Britton

School Leadership Speeches.
We had a great day on Tuesday listening to our 11 Year 5 students who put up their hands to stand for School Leadership in 2025.
They had the opportunity to stand in front of the whole school and deliver their speech.
They all showed a lot of courage and amazing qualities that would make each one of them a great leader.
Basketball Gala Day.
Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 students who participated in the Senior Basketball Gala Day and our Year 3 and 4 students in the Junior Basketball Gala Day. We are proud of your team spirit and commitment.
Thank you to Mark and May Ireland for taking photos on both of these days. Here are some to enjoy.
