Co-Curriculum

We offer a variety of co-curricular activities providing students with opportunities to explore their interests and passions.

Co-Curricular

We aim to provide numerous platforms for students to exhibit their abilities and honour God’s name through their hard work and dedication in these areas. We hold the belief that every child has been gifted with different abilities, and it brings us great joy to guide them in discovering and developing their unique talents.

We offer a variety of co-curricular activities, from arts and sports to clubs, providing students with opportunities to explore their interests and passions.

Opportunities

School Musical

Every two years, HPCS presents a whole-school musical, an exciting event that brings our community together and celebrates the talents of our students in the performing arts. All students are involved in the production, and those in Years 3–6 have the opportunity to audition for singing and speaking roles. Our musicals are a highlight for many families and a wonderful way for students to grow in confidence, teamwork, and creativity.

Our Concert Band Program gives students the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and enjoy making music together. Students participate in weekly lessons and small-group tutorials, helping them develop skills at their own pace. Then performing as a whole group.  The band provides a supportive environment where students can grow in confidence and experience the joy of performing as part of a team.

Each year students in Years 4-6 go on a two night camp. At this camp they have the opportunity to connect with each other and engage in a range of different activities. Our Year 6’s also have the opportunity to travel to Canberra to learn about democracy.

We also offer the following weekly clubs:

  • Chess
  • Choir
  • ICT
  • Dance
  • Art
  • Engineering
